Erica Hayter (nee Safford)

Welcome! I run my business as a big team of one, so you will only ever deal with me. I established the business after a previous career-life of marketing and primary school teaching. The old adage says not to work with children or animals, but I do not buy into that at all. Children and animals are wonderful.

I just adore the outdoors (all weathers!). Being outside, stretching my legs, feeling my heart pump just a little harder as I pick up the pace and knowing that I can tackle any muddy patch with my waterproof walking boots is just sheer delight. My trusty pac-mac is my security blanket; with that I can tackle anything the skies throw at me. But skin is waterproof anyway, ha!

I love all animals. I know first hand how pets are cherished members of the family. Trusting your pet into the care of another person is a big step and you should be discerning. Make sure that person is right for your pet and right for you. That is why I offer a free, no obligation consultation.

I am fully insured, DBS checked, qualified in First Aid at Work, Paediatric First Aid and Pet First Aid and have studied a course with The Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour and Training. I always carry a Pet First Aid kit on dog walks, along with the poopy bags and tennis balls, of course. I transport the dogs in my Nissan NV200 van which I had kitted out with 6 custom-made purple cages. I also had a fan system fitted for ventilation. Each cage has an absorbent and soft memory foam mat, individual water bucket, towel and dog biscuits.

Three random facts about me: I love a good cup of tea (who doesn't?), I have a soft spot for Irish Wolfhounds, and I am convinced that Alpaca wool is the warmest fabric (I own a Peruvian Alpaca wool poncho; it's heavenly)

Please give me a call today if you feel that I can help you with your dog walking needs. My business is COVID Secure. I look forward to talking with you.
